
Falling asleep and staying asleep just got a whole lot easier.

Sleep, something that we need and in this modern day; it can be quite a challenge getting a good night’s rest. The year is 2020 and it the perfect time to get the edge up on those distractions. A good night’s rest is an important part of being successful in our daily lives. Having technology and the internet at the tip of our fingers, and sometimes attached to us, many fall victims to time slipping away.
I have composed a list of tips and tricks that will help you get closer to getting your well deserved night rest in no time. Be warned, some common and some maybe a bit unorthodox; but all have been tested and works for me.
Train the Body & Mind
Train body and mind to recognize the spot to sleep.. Only touch your bed for sleep. I know that may sound odd, but if you only touch your bed for sleep, your body will recognize bed time. Especially if there are no other distraction present during bed time.
No T.V. in the Bed room.
Remove the T.V. from the bed room. T.V. programs are meant to stimulate the brain, catch your attention and keep you watching. A good commercial or program isn’t doing its job if it didn’t keep you watching, wanting more. Remove that anti-Sleep machine.
Taking Melatonin
If you travel a lot or maybe have a work schedule that confuses your body clock, than Melatonin can help you get extra sleep. Not to be confused with a sleeping pill that may cause drowsiness, melatonin increases the melatonin levels already in your body. Melatonin is a hormone that comes from the pineal gland. Melatonin helps controls our sleep cycle. Not to say Melatonin isn’t for you, but adjusting your life and trying one of these steps is a much better way to get sleep.
“Make Love”
Sex is a great option when trying to fall asleep. Weather with a partner or alone, having a nice release is healthy and relaxes the body.
Marijuana
consuming Marijuana is a great way to find yourself stuck in one place, comfortably. Marijuana helps as a lot purposes, medical and recreational. When it comes to falling asleep, choosing the the Marijuana strand called “indica” which will give you a body high. Giving you a more lazy feel, which is perfect for falling asleep. If you’re ever unsure, just ask a veteran user and I’m positive that they will be more than willing to help you along the way!
Read a book
Reading a book in a cozy spot will help you catch some Zzz’s. Ready can relax the mind and if you’re already in a position where you can fall asleep, you may find yourself feeling drowsy. Perfect opportunity for some sleep.
Give yourself time to play
Regulate a time frame for you and your devices. If you have an electronic device (phone, tablet, games, etc), than that device is kinda attached to your hip. Set a timer for play or use and accept when it’s over. Put your phone away when your ready for sleep.
Chill Out
Does you leg shake uncontrollable? Some call this sensation, Restless leg syndrome. If your moving you can’t fall asleep, just stop, it’s that simple. Chill out, believe in yourself and the ability to take control of your body then force yourself to stop or you’ll find yourself awake for quite some time.
